The Yamaha CSM1465AII Concert Snare Drum features an 8-ply maple shell crafted with Yamaha’s patented Air-Seal System, delivering a perfectly round shell. Its 3-piece tubular lugs minimize shell contact to boost resonance, letting the maple’s rich tone shine through. This snare produces a sharp yet warm sound thanks to Yamaha’s Q-type snare strainer and an extra-deep snare bed that enhances snare wire contact with the resonant head.
